Today I met the Puget Sound Honor Flight at the National World War II Memorial. There were 58 World War II veterans on this flight. I enjoyed meeting these heroes, they always bring sunshine to my day. Thank you to all of the volunteers, guardians and greeters that made this day a success!!! Have a great week, everyone!!!

I had the privilege to attend the Honor Flight Summit. Over 300 individuals celebrated, shared stories, planned, inspired and encouraged each other. Each one of them makes a difference in the lives of veterans. 

The Honor Flight organization brings our heroes to see their memorials at no cost to the veterans.

How can you help? Do you belong to a club or work for a company that can help raise funds to honor our heroes? Do you have a talent or time that you can give to help? Find a hub in your area and ask how you can help.

Last year Honor Flight had a goal of bringing 20,000 veterans to Washington, D.C. They brought 21,261 veterans and 18,284 guardians!!!

December was filled with a lot of fun finding and photographing glorious trees. Along the way I met wonderful people and helped photograph couples and families.
